What better way to enjoy a summer evening than a movie in the great outdoors? It’s time to save the dates for the Municipality of Mississippi Mills’ popular Movies in the Park series, returning this August.
The Municipality, along with sponsor Rental Village Carleton Place, partners on this series with neighbourhood committees to showcase the beauty of the parks in each corner of our community. Grab the family, explore our parks and recreational spaces, and enjoy a good movie!
This year’s Movies in the Park lineup:

August 3 – “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” at Clayton Community Centre. Co-hosted by Clayton Community Volunteers.

August 10 – “Super Mario Bros.” at Stewart Community Centre in Pakenham. Co-hosted by volunteers form the Pakenham Civitan Club.

August 17 – “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” at Munro Meadows in Almonte. Co-hosted by Munro Meadows Neighbourhood Volunteers.

August 24 – “Hook” at the Almonte Library on the Alameda. Co-hosted by the Friendship Oven Committee Volunteers.

August 31 – “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” at Riverfront Estates Central Park in Almonte. Co-hosted by neighbourhood volunteers.
