From Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health

Each year the committed and compassionate team at LLGAMH provides care and support to over 5000 clients who reach out for help with the challenges they face in their daily lives, including depression, anxiety, substance use, family and relationships, grief, trauma and housing.

Last year was an eventful year at LLGAMH, as we embarked upon a three-year strategic plan guided by our new vision – Together, we are here for you, today and tomorrow – as our North Star. Our Board of Directors plays a key role in overseeing the organization’s journey along the path set forth in this plan, and we are recruiting new Directors and Community Representatives for the organization’s Board and its Standing Committees. As members of a governance team, these committed volunteers will be responsible for key areas such as strategic planning, quality, financial stewardship, accountability and CEO oversight.

We want to ensure that our Board and its Standing Committees are representative of all those who live or work in the many communities across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Counties, be it Almonte, Gananoque, Cardinal, Westport or anywhere in between. To this end we need the Board to be reflective of the growing diversity of our population to ensure that it has the capacity to provide appropriate insight into the socio-cultural complexities of providing addictions and mental health care and services to our ever-evolving communities.
