FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR:
It is with sadness that I share the passing of Retired Firefighter/Captain Peter Stanley. He passed peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, September 7th, surrounded by his wife and family. Peter served with the Almonte/Ramsay and Mississippi Mills Fire Departments from 1979 to 1999.
Peter was a proud and dedicated member of our Fire Department for 20 years and provided exemplary service to our community. He will be deeply missed by his Fire Department Family.
As a retired member of our Fire Department, flags at all municipal facilities are lowered in Peter’s honour. Please keep Peter’s wife Gayle and the Stanley family in your thoughts and prayers during this solemn time.
