The finish line is in sight and the last touches are being put on the Downtown Almonte Revitalization Project. Both Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills have committed to completing the paving of the Downtown Core by July 28, 2023. Weather dependent, we will meet that timeline!
The schedule for the final paving of Mill Street and Little Bridge Street has changed. The updated schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 27: Paving of Little Bridge Street and upper Mill Street on-street parking, between Brae and Bridge Street
Friday, July 28: Paving of Mill Street (Almonte Street to Bridge Street)
During this time, a full road closure will be in effect for the streets to be paved. Flag staff will be on site to direct traffic. Sidewalks remain open to pedestrian traffic.
Any delays due to weather will be communicated on the Municipality's website and social media channels.
