Are you a forestry-dependent commercial business in Mississippi Mills? Our Municipal Reforestation Grant Program might be for you.
Earlier this year, the Municipality of Mississippi Mills was successful in its application for one-time funding offered by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry to recoup clean-up costs experienced as a result of the Derecho in May 2022. The Municipality received funds for equipment and reforestation projects.
As a result, the Municipality established the Municipal Reforestation Grant Program to provide modest financial assistance to qualified organizations within the physical boundaries of Mississippi Mills.
Applications for funding are now being accepted and must be received by July 14th, 2023.
