The forecasted snow will add an even more magical element to the Almonte Christmas Night Parade, which will go ahead as planned today at 5 p.m.

The Municipality is monitoring the weather advisory in effect and our Public Works crews are prepared and out ensuring our roads and the parade route are ready for the arrival of Santa Claus this evening.

Winter has arrived, please dress accordingly.

Reminder – there is a new route for this year’s parade. It will depart from the Almonte Civitan Hall and with help from the OPP, the parade will cross Highway 29 and follow Almonte Street, turning right on Mill Street. It will travel up Mill Street and turn right onto Bridge Street, ending at the John Levi Community Centre.

If there are changes to the weather, please stay tuned to the municipal website and Facebook for updates.
