Map featuring parade route for 2023 Almonte Santa Claus Parade

This Sunday, December 3 – the Almonte Christmas Night Parade will start at the Almonte Civitan Club (500 Almonte St.) and will end at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge St.) Both facilities will be open for parade participants to keep warm while they wait.

The parade will leave from Almonte Civitan Club at 5 p.m. sharp. With the help of the OPP, it will cross Highway 29 and travel down Almonte Street. Next, the parade will make a right turn on Mill Street, travel through downtown (you can get some of the best vantage points here!) and make another right on Bridge Street, ending at the John Levi Community Centre.

Good news for the walkers in the parade, this new route is a little shorter and much of it is downhill!

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the Christmas season at the parade, which begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 3. Be sure to bring some non-perishable food items as the Almonte Scouts will be collecting donations along the route.

Following the parade, come by the John Levi Community Centre for free hot dogs and hot chocolate, courtesy of the Almonte Lions Club, as well as free public skating.

If you are participating in our Almonte Christmas Night Parade, there is no pre-registration necessary. We ask that all entries arrive at the Civitan Club around 4 p.m. When you arrive send a representative inside to get a number for judging and line-up. Don’t forget to light your float!
