The Mississippi Mills Fire Department wants to remind the public that you must obtain a signed burning permit before burning. If you have already created an account online, you will need to renew your permit for 2024.

TAKE NOTICE. that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills intends to pass proposed Development Charges by-laws and the underlying 2023 Development Charges Background Study.

This Sunday, December 3 – the Almonte Christmas Night Parade will start at the Almonte Civitan Club (500 Almonte St. ) and will end at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge St. ) Both facilities will be open for parade participants to keep warm while they wait. The parade will leave from Almonte Civitan Club at 5 p. m.
