Lanark County Hosting Drop-in Sessions for Rural Transit Feasibility Study

Lanark County and the Town of Smiths Falls are undertaking a Rural Transit Feasibility Study to explore the potential of new public transit services. The study will recommend a preferred transit solution for the region that is responsive to the needs and priorities of residents.

We want to hear from you! Join us for an informal drop-in session to learn more about the study and provide your input to the project team. We need your help to identify issues, needs, and opportunities relating to transit.

Drop-in session dates:

• Wednesday May 21, 2025 – 1-3 p.m., Smiths Falls Town Hall – 77 Beckwith Street North
• Wednesday May 21, 2025 – 6-8 p.m., Perth and District Pool – 3 Sunset Boulevard
• Thursday May 22, 2025 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mississippi Mills Public Library (Almonte Branch) – 155 High Street
