In Memory of Al Barratt

It is with sadness that I share the passing of former Fire Chief Al Barratt. Al passed away with loved ones by his side on Friday, December 29, 2023. He served as a volunteer firefighter with the Pakenham Fire Department for many years, and later became Fire Chief for three years in the 1980s.

Al was a dedicated member of our Fire Department, and he will be dearly missed by his community and Fire Department family.

As a former member of our Fire Department, flags at all municipal facilities will be lowered in Al’s honour. Please keep Al’s wife Toby and the Barrett family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
