December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Flags have been lowered at all municipal facilities.

On December 6, Lanark County Interval House and Community Support will hold their annual Candlelight Vigil at 6 p.m. in the park outside the Crystal Palace in Perth.
