Celebrate Almonte A Success!
The Celebrate Almonte event was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event come together and a special thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the festivities!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank:
- The Almonte Legion for making the delicious chili and hosting so many people
- The Mississippi Mills Public Library (Almonte branch) for coordinating the community art project and displaying photos
- Levi Home Hardware Building Centre for hosting live entertainment and the model train display
- Gord Pike and the Heritage Court businesses
- Mississippi Mills Youth Centre for the amazing face painting!
- Puppets Up! and puppeteers Stephen Brathwaite and Zach Brown
- Sarah Argue and her fantastic basketball puppets
- Special guests: Lauren Hall, Cal Cummings & Friends, and Danny & Travis Strong – such amazing talent!
We would also like to thank the Almonte Bicentennial Working Group volunteers for all of their efforts: Heather Baird, John Dalgity, Kathy Cummings, Lorne Heslop and Tina Collins
The WINNERS of the Gift Baskets are:
