$2 Paper Billing Fee for Water and Tax Bills

Paper water bills will have a $2 fee starting in March 2026.

This $2 fee also applies to property tax bills, beginning in June 2026.

This fee helps cover the real costs of printing and mailing paper bills, such as paper, envelopes, and postage. It also cuts down on paper use, improves service, and is more reliable during mail disruptions.

Those who sign up for e-billing will not be charged the $2 fee.

Watermain Repair – Bridge Street – February 11, 2026

UPDATE, February 11, 2:30 p.m.: Repairs are taking longer than anticipated. Work should is expected to be completed by 6 p.m.

The Municipality's Roads and Public Works has identified a watermain break on Bridge Street, between Country Street and Perth Street.

Repair work is scheduled for: Wednesday, February 11 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (approximately).

During this time:

  • Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be impacted in the work zone
  • Flaggers will be on site to manage alternating traffic flow
  • Drivers are asked to use caution and follow signage

We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as crews work to complete these repairs safely and efficiently.
