Water Service Disruption – Carss Street Watermain Project – August 6

As part of the Carss Street watermain project, a scheduled water service disruption will take place Wednesday, August 6.

Affected residents have been notified.

Duration: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Affected area (see attached map):

• Carss Street (between Union Street and Martin Street North)
• Mitcheson Street (up to the dead end, north of Brookdale)

During the shutdown:

• Water will be temporarily unavailable
• Close all taps to prevent issues when service resumes
• Store sufficient water for drinking, cooking and essential needs prior to shutdown

Once service has resumed, residents should run taps as you may experience temporary discolouration.
