Grief and Bereavement Support Group

Navigating grief is a deeply personal journey, but you don’t have to face it alone. Home Hospice North Lanark is offering a safe and supportive 7-week Grief and Bereavement Support Group.

When: Tuesdays for 7 weeks starting April 7 to May 19, 2026, 1 to 3 p.m.

U-First! For Care Partners

Are you supporting someone with dementia or other cognitive impairments? 

This free, innovative program by the Alzheimer Society will help you better understand and support the person in your care, work as a team, and develop practical strategies to manage behaviour changes.

When: Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22, 2026, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Practical Caregiver Training

Are you an unpaid caregiver looking for support and guidance? Join our FREE Practical Caregiver Training sessions, hosted by Home Hospice North Lanark, and gain essential caregiving skills. Learn how to provide personal care, manage communication, and prioritize self-care, while navigating the challenges of caregiving.

When: Friday, April 24, May 1and 8, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; May 15, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
