Temporary Pedestrian Walkway to be Installed on Menzie Street – September 23, 2025

Exciting progress is underway at the future home of Mississippi Mills Childcare Services, located at 111 Menzie Street in Almonte.

To enhance pedestrian safety during construction, the Municipality is installing a temporary walkway along the opposite side of Menzie Street. This will allow residents to navigate the area without passing through the construction site entrance.

The walkway is scheduled to be in place by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 23 and is anticipated to remain in place until December 1.

Please use the designated walkway and stay clear of the construction zone for your safety. We appreciate your understanding as we continue building a space that will serve families for years to come.
