Rehabilitation of the Ninth Line Bridge in Pakenham Begins This Month
The Municipality of Mississippi Mills will begin the rehabilitation of the Ninth Line Bridge on Concession 9 in Pakenham in early June 2025.
The work, to be handled by Bonnechere Excavating Inc. (BEI) Construction, includes:
- Replacing the old top part with a new reinforced deck on steel girders
- Upgrading supports, guard rails and safety barriers
- Paving and drainage improvements
Construction will be staged to maintain traffic flow along Concession 9, with one lane always remaining open.
It’s anticipated work will be completed by October 30, 2025.
