Recycling Program Update – January 9, 2026

Circular Materials has informed the Municipality that collection day and frequency will remain the same for Mississippi Mills residents.
An error was discovered in the 2026 recycling calendar that was distributed to residences by Circular Materials.

The calendar colours have also been updated to reflect the blue box and yellow bin schedule. A new version of the 2026 recycling calendar will be distributed to residents by Circular Materials in the coming weeks.
Next week, January 11-17, both recycling streams—paper/fibre and containers—can still be placed at the curb for collection.

Circular Materials manages the enhanced recycling program for the province under Ontario’s extended producer responsibility model. They have contracted Miller Waste to deliver curbside collection services in Mississippi Mills.
