Notice of Start of Construction – Highway 15 – April 27, 2026

GIP Paving Inc. will commence construction on Highway 15 under MTO Contract No. 2025‑4048, with project limits extending from approximately 0.2 km north of Perth Road / County Road 10, northerly for approximately 10.8 km, to approximately 0.7 km south of Highway 7, within the Eastern Region.

Start date: April 27, 2026 

Anticipated completion: November 30, 2026 

Scope of work

The work related to this project includes grading, drainage, hot mix paving, electrical.

Traffic impacts

Highway lane closures

Single‑lane closures or two-lane closures and alternating traffic operations may be required throughout the duration of construction. Traffic control will consist of advance signage, traffic control devices, and temporary traffic control personnel, in accordance with the Ontario Traffic Manual and contract requirements.

Access to side roads and entrances will be maintained or prior notice will be provided.
