Ninth Line Bridge Rehabilitation Update – September 22, 2025

The Ninth Line Bridge rehabilitation project is entering its final phase.  

Paving is scheduled for Thursday, September 25 with the bridge expected to reopen to traffic the following day, Friday, September 26.

Led by Bonnechere Excavating Inc. Construction, the project began in early June and involved an overhaul of the bridge’s infrastructure. Key upgrades included:

• Replacement of the aging deck with new reinforced deck supported by steel girders
• Enhanced structural supports
• Installation of updated guard rails and safety barriers
• Paving and drainage improvements

The upgraded bridge is a key investment in the Municipality’s long-term infrastructure.
