The following roads received grading and surface treatment:

  • Rae Road (Ramsay Concession 8 to County Road 29)
  • Rae Road (4th Concession Ramsay to 5th Concession Ramsay)
  • Dark’s Side Road (Kinburn Side Road to municipal limits)

Receiving microsurfacing:

Surface treatment is used as a budget-friendly way to make rural roads last longer. It involves spraying an asphalt mix onto the road, followed by a layer of aggregate chips. The road is then rolled to embed the chips into the asphalt mix.

Originally, Council approved $852,304.50 for the 2025 surface treatment program on June 3. Coming in under budget, additional funds of $1,328,000 were approved by Council on June 17, for a total investment of over $2.1 million in upgrades this year.
