Municipal Holiday Office Closures

The Mississippi Mills Municipal Office will be closed for the holidays at noon on Wednesday, December 24 through Thursday, January 1.

This closure also includes the Development Services and Engineering Department and the Recreation and Culture Department located at Almonte Old Town Hall.

All offices will reopen on Friday, January 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Garbage and recycling schedule changes

Please note the following holiday collection adjustments:

Christmas Day

• Thursday, December 25 collection moves to Friday, December 26
• Friday, December 26 collection moves to Saturday, December 27

New Year’s Day

• Thursday, January 1 collection moves to Friday, January 2
• Friday, January 2 collection moves to Saturday, January 3

Reminder: During collection the week following Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, you may place a second container at the curb without a bag tag.

Drop-off option

A secure mail slot is available at the back door for payments and document drop-offs during the closure.
