Multi-Day Heat Warning in Effect – July 28, 2025
Environment Canada has issued a multi-day heat warning that’s in effect for our region until Tuesday night, July 29.
This prolonged heat event will see:
- Daytime high temperatures of 30-33 degrees Celsius
- Humidex values of 38-42
- Nighttime low temperatures of 19-21 degrees Celsius, providing little relief from the heat
The hottest conditions are expected today. Daytime high temperatures will lower on Wednesday.
Watch for signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others. Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue. Stop your activity and drink water.
Heat stroke is a medical emergency. Call 911 or your emergency health care provider if you, or someone around you, is showing signs of heat stroke (red and hot skin, dizziness, nausea, confusion, change in consciousness).
