May 18-24, 2025 is National Public Works Week

This week is National Public Works Week – a time to celebrate and recognize the essential role our Roads and Public Works staff play in keeping the Municipality running.

This year’s theme is “People, Purpose, Presence,” and highlights three cornerstone ideals that motivate public works professionals to serve in their communities every day. Meeting the needs of people is what gives public works its sense of purpose. Many times, public works professionals will never meet those whose lives have been impacted because when things are going right, no one knows that public works is there.

Public works is ever present, working in the background to advance quality of life for all.

We would like to recognize our Mississippi Mills Roads and Public Works team for all their efforts, dedication, long hours and hard work they put in each and every day to serve our community.
