Illumination Notice – World Parkinson’s Day – April 11, 2026

To mark World Parkinson’s Day on April 11, the Municipality of Mississippi Mills will light Almonte Old Town Hall and the Almonte falls in blue.

World Parkinson’s Day is recognized as part of Parkinson’s Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing understanding of the disease and showing support for those living with it. It also honours the strength and resilience of people affected by Parkinson’s – a complex brain condition impacting more than 120,000 Canadians.
