Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library’s Book Sale Returns October 17-19 and October 24-25

Get ready to stock up! The Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library Gigantic Book Sale is just weeks away, and our dedicated volunteers are ready for your donations.

We’re looking for gently used books in good condition that you’d be happy to share. Please do not bring textbooks, encyclopedias, damaged or dusty items, outdated material, or magazines, especially National Geographic. Our volunteers sort through thousands of books and want each one ready to find a new home.

Donation drop-off dates:

Book drop-offs will be accepted inside the Rexall Mall on Ottawa Street in Almonte from October 1 to 16. Please follow the signs and leave donations only in the designated area during mall hours.

Then get ready for the sale! Doors open at the Rexall Mall over two weekends, October 17–19 and October 24–25, with shelves continuously restocked. You can get an early start during the sneak peek Fridays on October 17 and 24 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend hours are staggered, but you’ll find plenty of selection throughout the afternoons. Check the posters for extended times.

There are no set prices for your purchases, but generous donations are greatly appreciated. All proceeds support the Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library in this important fundraiser. Thousands of books, two big weekends, and all for a great cause!
