Community Impact Grant Program Public Info Sessions – September 24 and October 15, 2025
Mississippi Mills is introducing a new Community Impact Grant Program!
This program supports local organizations, volunteer groups and residents in delivering inclusive, creative and impactful initiatives across Mississippi Mills. Whether you’re hosting a neighbourhood gathering, launching a new program or growing a long-standing event – this grant is for you.
The Community Impact Grant Program replaces the annual Municipal Grants and Neighbourhood Micro Grants.
What’s new:
- Two intakes: Intake 1 deadline – November 30, 2025 (2026 projects) and Intake 2 deadline – March 15, 2026 (for projects from April-December 2026)
- In-kind support now requires an application
- Updated grant streams
- Updated reporting
Grant streams include:
- Neighbourhood Micro Grant – $200 each
- Live Local Activation – up to $500
- Spark Grant – up to $1,000
- Community Capacity Building – up to $2,000
- Impact Grant – up to $5,000
- Partnership Grant – up to $15,000
- In-kind Support – up to $2,000 value
Public Information Sessions
Find out more about the updated grant program at two upcoming public information sessions!
- Wednesday, September 24 at 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 15 at 6 p.m.
Both will be held at Almonte Old Town Hall, third floor (14 Bridge Street).
Sessions will cover everything you need to know – from program updates and who’s eligible to apply, to how the application process works and what kinds of projects we’re looking to support. We encourage you to ask questions and explore how this new funding opportunity can help bring your ideas to life.
