Carss Street Watermain Project Now Complete

W.H. MacSweyn Ltd. has successfully wrapped up the Carss Street watermain reconstruction project. The final phase – road paving – was completed last week, marking the end of a large infrastructure upgrade in Mississippi Mills.

This project involved the full reconstruction of Carss Street, stretching from Union Street North to Mitcheson Street. Key improvements included:

• Installation of a brand-new watermain
• Realignment of sanitary sewer infrastructure in the Carss/Mitcheson intersection

Identified as a priority in the Mississippi Mills Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Master Plan, this project enhances water service reliability for current residents and supports future growth and development.
