4th Annual Mississippi Mills Pumpkin Promenade – Saturday, November 1

From the Neighbourhood Tomato Friendship Oven

Join the Neighbourhood Tomato Friendship Oven for an illuminating time at the 4th Annual Mississippi Mills Pumpkin Promenade Saturday, November 1.

Bring your leftover jack-o’-lanterns to the Alameda (beside the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library – 155 High Street). The pumpkins will be arranged along the Alameda and lit (tea lights will be provided).

Schedule

• 4-6 p.m.: Pumpkin drop-off
• 5 p.m.: Wood oven baked beans and assorted sweets (cash only/pay by donation)
• 6-7 p.m.: Walk the Alameda and view all the lit pumpkins

Afterward, all pumpkins will be donated to local farms for compost and feed.

Proceeds from the promenade will go to the Mississippi Mills Youth Centre.
