Save the date - Public Information Centre on June 22, 2026

The Municipality invites residents to save the date for our next Public Information Centre (PIC) on Monday, June 22, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Held at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge Street, Almonte), this PIC will host a variety of information boards on current projects, along with staff to provide more details and answer questions. This is a great opportunity for residents to drop-in and provide input on projects that will shape the future of Mississippi Mills. No RSVP is required.

Projects at this PIC will be of three categories:

• MM2048 Projects - Planning 25 years into the future
• 2026 Municipal Election
• Roads and Public Works

Each category will have numerous projects and information to explore:

• MM2048 - 'How We Flow' and 'How We Dispose'
  • Almonte Wastewater Treatment System Expansion
  • Well 7 & 8 Expansion
  • Northwest Watermain Loop Project
  • Organic Waste Diversion Review (composting)
  • Recycling Depot Review
• 2026 Municipal Election
  • How to vote, where to vote, etc.
  • What to know if you want to run for council
• Roads and Public Works
  • Traffic Calming Policy
  • School Zone Safety Review
