Public Notice – Weaver’s Way Phase 1B Construction

The Municipality has been notified by the developer that construction on Phase 1B of the Weaver’s Way subdivision is tentatively scheduled to begin this week.

Tentative construction schedule 

• Week of August 17: Earthworks
• Week of October 5: Installation of mainline services and service laterals
• Week of November 2: Roadworks 

Minto will provide direct notification to residents within Phase 1A regarding upcoming construction activities.  

The Municipality has also been advised that no blasting is anticipated as part of this phase of construction.  

Traffic and pedestrian access

Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited will be responsible for traffic control within the construction area. Traffic control measures and signage will be maintained throughout the project. The main construction access will be from Appleton Side Road.  

A safe and accessible route for pedestrians will be clearly identified through and/or around the construction site at all times.  

Existing sidewalk access will be maintained for as long as possible. Should temporary sidewalk closures become necessary, they will not happen until an appropriate detour route has been identified.  

Construction schedules are subject to change based on weather and site conditions. Residents are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the construction area and to follow all posted signage and traffic control measures.
