The Municipality of Mississippi Mills will begin its 2026 microsurfacing program on Wednesday, June 17.

Over the next two weeks, Miller Paving Limited will complete work on the following roads:

  • 10th Concession Pakenham – from Waba Road to Barr Side Road
  • Barr Side Road – from 10th Concession Pakenham to Waba Road
  • Gore Street – from Spring Street to the dead end
  • Tait McKenzie Drive – from King Street to Thoburn Street
  • Thoburn Street – from Tait McKenzie Drive to Dr. Bach Street
  • Vaughan Street – from Jamieson Street to Thoburn Street
  • Rae Road – from Ramsay Concession 6B to Ramsay Concession 7A
  • Ottawa Street – from Industrial Drive to Ramsay Concession 11A
  • MacFarlane Street – from Jeanie Street to Jessie Street
  • Margaret Street – from the dead end to Jessie Street
  • Perth Street – from King Street to Bridge Street
  • Ramsay Concession 8 – from Senator Street to Drumond Side Road

Work will begin in Almonte, then move into Ramsay and Pakenham Wards.

Microsurfacing is an important preventative maintenance treatment that restores road surface quality and extends pavement life.

Construction will take place as part of a rolling operation. When crews are working in front of your property, please avoid parking in front of your driveway to allow work to proceed safely and efficiently. As the new surface cures over the next few weeks, regular traffic will help it settle and become smoother.

Notices are being delivered to affected residents.
