Public Notice – Adelaide Street Urbanization Project Begins October 22

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills has contracted Canada Paving and Construction (1998) Ltd. to complete roadway reconstruction works on Adelaide Street as part of the Adelaide Street Urbanization Project.

Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 22 and is anticipated to be completed by Friday, November 13, weather permitting.

The work generally includes full-depth road reconstruction, road widening, roadway and pedestrian improvements, new asphalt pavement, concrete curbs, and restoration of disturbed landscaped areas.

Road closure

Adelaide Street will be closed from the intersection of Martin Street and Adelaide to the Adelaide Court/Adelaide Street intersection for the duration of the project.

Residents in the affected area have been notified in advance of the upcoming work. The Municipality will make every effort to minimize disruptions during construction.
