Province‑Wide Public Emergency Alert Test – May 7, 2026

A routine test of the Alert Ready emergency alert system will take place on Thursday, May 7 at 1:55 p.m. The test alert will be broadcast on television, radio and compatible wireless devices.

Regular testing helps ensure the Alert Ready system can quickly deliver critical, time‑sensitive warnings to Canadians during real emergencies.
