Paving Works Update – October 3, 2025

The renewal of Water Street in Almonte is tentatively set to start next week.

Scope of work includes:

• Milling, padding and resurfacing the existing road with new asphalt
• Extending paving to municipal limits

Impacted areas are outlined in the map above.

Additional paving projects planned for this fall:

• Argyle Street (between St. George Street and Country Street)
• Pick Road
• Ramsay Concession 8 (between County Road 29 and municipal limits)

These works will be carried out by Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited.
