ORPC Planned Power Outages in Almonte – August 12 and 13, 2026

Ottawa River Power Corporation (ORPC) will be conducting planned power outages in parts of Almonte this week.

Affected customers will receive notification through ORPC’s automated messaging system.

Scheduled outages

Wednesday, August 12

Time: 7 to 9 a.m.
Affected areas: Laura Crescent, Larose Street and Johanna Street
Reason: Repairs and upgrades to existing electrical infrastructure

Thursday, August 13

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Affected areas: Country Street, Perth Street, Bridge Street and Parkview Drive
Reason: Tree trimming and vegetation management around ORPC power lines
