Press Release – Mississippi River Health Alliance

The Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) proudly recognized staff, medical staff, and recent retirees during its 2026 Long Service Awards celebration held on June 3 at Almonte General Hospital.

The event celebrated staff and medical staff from across Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor, and Lanark County Paramedic Service who have dedicated years — and in many cases - decades of service to caring for local communities.

This year's recipients represented milestone anniversaries ranging from five to forty years of service, reflecting the remarkable commitment, compassion, and professionalism that continue to strengthen healthcare across the region.

"Behind every year of service is a person who has made a difference in the lives of patients, residents, families, and colleagues," said Brad Harrington, President & CEO of the Mississippi River Health Alliance. "Today is an opportunity to recognize not only years of service, but the lasting impact these individuals have had on our organization and our communities."

Special recognition was given to Heather White, who was recognized for an extraordinary 40 years of dedication to healthcare within the MRHA.

The MRHA also recognized recent retirees whose contributions have helped shape the organization and the communities it serves.

The MRHA extends its sincere congratulations and gratitude to all 2026 Long Service Award recipients.
