Illumination Request – Big Brothers Big Sisters Month
The Municipality of Mississippi Mills is proud to recognize Big Brothers Big Sisters Month and celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County's positive impact on local youth and families.
Following a proclamation by Council at its August 25 meeting, the Almonte Old Town Hall and the falls will be illuminated in teal from September 13-19 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
September 18 is also recognized as Big Brothers Big Sisters Day, an opportunity to celebrate the mentors, volunteers and supporters who help young people build confidence, resilience and meaningful connections.
