Succession planning is a part of strategic planning for any organization. Home Hospice North Lanark (HHNL) is looking to fill the positions of two board directors who are completing their two-year terms.

Are you passionate about your community and want to make a meaningful difference? We welcome people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and encourage them to apply. Previous experience on a governance board is an asset.

Currently, we are especially interested in individuals with interests and background experience in any of the following:

• Fundraising and community engagement
• Healthcare and quality of care
• Leadership and governance
• Accreditation
• Finances
• Grant writing

As a board director, you will have the opportunity to:

• Help shape important decisions
• Share your skills and experience
• Support HHNL’s mission and strategic goals

What is involved?

• Attend monthly board meetings – approximately 4–5 hours per month
• Participate on a subcommittee and attend meetings every 2–3 months
