Filming Notices in Almonte – May 4-7, 2026

Two different movies will be filming in Almonte May 4 to 7.

‘The Clown Movie’ – May 4, 2026

1Department Entertainment will be in Almonte on Monday, May 4 to shoot scenes for ‘The Clown Movie.’

Filming will take place inside and outside Ottawa Valley Coffee on Mill Street.

This filming event was originally scheduled for Monday, April 20.

Filming schedule

• Monday, May 4 – 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Filming locations

• Inside and outside Ottawa Valley Coffee (OVC) on Mill Street

Traffic and pedestrian impacts

• Intermittent pedestrian stoppages outside OVC (between 2 and 7 p.m.)
• Intermittent traffic stoppages on Mill, Brae and Little Bridge streets (between 9 and 11 p.m.)

Crews will be using private property as base camp and their technical trucks will be parking in a private lot off High Street.

‘The Friendly Town’ – May 4-7, 2026

Brennan Martin Productions will be shooting ‘The Friendly Town,’ at various locations around Almonte from May 4-7.

Filming schedule and locations

• Monday, May 4: 8 a.m. to approximately 10 p.m. (Auld Kirk Cemetery, Big Vintage, Café Postino)
• Tuesday, May 5: 9 a.m. to approximately 8 p.m. (Almonte Old Town Hall)
• Wednesday, May 6: 9 a.m. to approximately 8 p.m. (Ottawa Valley Coffee – interior and exterior, Mill Street Books – exterior)
• Thursday, May 7: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Mill Street Books – exterior, Gemmill Park)

Base camp for filming will be on private property, mobile, and in some of the businesses where filming is taking place.
