Canada Day 2026 Office Closures

The Mississippi Mills Municipal Office, as well as the Development Services and Engineering and Recreation and Culture Departments located at the Almonte Old Town Hall, will be closed on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1.

Garbage and recycling holiday schedule changes

Due to the holiday, curbside collection will shift by one day for the remainder of the week:

  • Wednesday, July 1 → Thursday, July 2
  • Thursday, July 2 → Friday, July 3
  • Friday, July 3 → Saturday, July 4

Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, July 2 at 8:30 a.m.
