Almonte Soccer Club Awards First Recipient of Archer Lowe Memorial Soccer Scholarship

Earlier this year, our club announced the creation of the Archer Lowe Memorial Soccer Scholarship (Bursary) to honor the memory of a truly exceptional young man. Archer was a dedicated teammate, a natural leader, and a player who brought pure joy and energy to every field he stepped on.

We established this annual bursary to recognize a graduating player who carries forward Archer’s incredible legacy—someone who demonstrates deep dedication, outstanding leadership on and off the field, and a positive, fun-loving spirit that brings teammates together.

Today, it is with immense pride and a warm heart that we announce the very first recipient of the Archer Lowe Memorial Bursary: Emily Twigge.

Emily’s application, essay, and references beautifully highlighted the qualities that defined Archer. Throughout her time with the Almonte Soccer Club, Emily has consistently shown up with heart, worked hard, lifted others up, and made soccer fun for everyone around her. She truly embodies the passion, integrity, and joy that this bursary was created to celebrate.
