Almonte Craft Beer Fest Returns to the Banks of the Mississippi River July 24

Raise a glass to summer as the Almonte Craft Beer Fest returns to the beautiful grounds of Almonte Old Town Hall (14 Bridge Street) on Friday, July 24, for an evening of local craft beverages, live music, great food and stunning riverside views.
Running from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., this popular festival is coordinated by the Municipality of Mississippi Mills. It will bring together seven breweries, a distillery, a winery and a new non-alcoholic beverage vendor, offering attendees the opportunity to sample some of the region’s finest craft creations while enjoying live entertainment on the banks of the Mississippi River.
Guests can relax by the water, take in a spectacular sunset and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that has made the Almonte Craft Beer Fest a favourite summer event in Mississippi Mills.

The beverage lineup
Participating breweries, distilleries and wineries are:
- Base Camp Brewing Company – specializing in exceptional ales and lagers with a European flair.
- Cartwright Springs Brewery – crafting beer with an environmentally friendly focus using the brewery’s natural artesian spring.
- Farmgate Cider – a family-owned and operated cidery dedicated to caring for the orchard and producing sustainable, handcrafted ciders.
- VODKOW – Dairy Distillery – transforming a dairy byproduct into premium spirits and cream liquors.
- Braumeister Brewing Co. – a Bavarian-inspired craft brewery bringing the flavours of traditional European beer halls and beer gardens to the region.
- Cold Bear Brewing Co. – focused on producing high-quality lagers, ales, pilsners and more.
- Perth Brewery – a renowned family-run microbrewery known for its wide range of fresh, quality craft beer offerings.
- Ridge Rock Brewing Co. – founded by passionate homebrewers and committed to using quality local ingredients to create down-to-earth beers.
- Three Dog Winery – an award-winning winery offering everything from bold reds and crisp whites to sparking and rosé wines.
The festival proudly showcases a diverse group of craft beverage producers from across Eastern Ontario and beyond. Attendees will discover exceptional local flavours and meet the people behind them.
New this year
The Municipality is pleased to welcome The Sip Stand, a mobile pop-up bar who will serve up refreshing non-alcoholic mocktails ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The food
A variety of local food vendors will be serving up delicious fare throughout the evening, including:
- Almonte Butcher Shop – burgers
- Nicky T’s – poutine, pulled pork and festival favourites
- Angry Dragonz – Asian fusion cuisine
- Wood-fired Pizza by André – pizza freshly made on site
- Hummingbird Chocolate Maker – frozen ice cream treats

The entertainment
Opening the evening is Jones-Finn, featuring Juno Award winners Jeff Jones and Gerry Finn. With decades of experience on the Canadian music scene and as members of The Carpet Frogs, the touring band for Burton Cummings, the duo blends rock, jazz and contemporary influences into a performance featuring original material and beloved classics.
Headlining the festival is Ottawa favourite Sussex, a high-energy five-piece band known for keeping audiences dancing with an upbeat mix of classic rock, modern pop and dance hits. Their dynamic performances, powerful vocals and crowd-pleasing setlists have made them a staple of the region's live music scene.
Doors to the event open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 plus HST and applicable fees and are available through Tickets Please.
