38 Main Street East Update – April 4, 2025

Since the last update on the stabilization of 38 Main Street East when the road was fully reopened, remedial works have continued at a slower pace due to the cold temperatures.

There is still some work to be completed, including redoing concrete work that did not satisfy inspection requirements. Scaffolding will be reassembled on April 4 to allow further engineering analysis. Once weather conditions are warmer, masonry crews will be correcting the concrete work, which is anticipated to take approximately two weeks.

These repairs will be made at no additional cost to the Municipality.
