Statement from the Office of the Mayor – July 8 Incident in Almonte

On July 8, our community was shaken by a tragic incident on Church Street in Almonte, where a fallen tree limb critically injured a local resident. It is with great sadness that we learned that the individual passed on Sunday, July 13 due to injuries.
On behalf of Council and municipal staff, I extend my deepest sympathies to the individual's family and loved ones. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones during this profoundly difficult time.
