$2 Paper Billing Fee for Water and Tax Bills

Paper water bills will have a $2 fee starting in March 2026.

This $2 fee also applies to property tax bills, beginning in June 2026.

This fee helps cover the real costs of printing and mailing paper bills, such as paper, envelopes, and postage. It also cuts down on paper use, improves service, and is more reliable during mail disruptions.

Those who sign up for e-billing will not be charged the $2 fee.

Parking Enforcement Notice – Spring Street Area in Almonte

Municipal by-law officers will be conducting increased parking enforcement on Spring Street and surrounding streets in Almonte.

Residents and visitors are reminded not to park in front of driveways or within designated no-parking zones. Vehicles found in violation may be subject to fines or towing in accordance with municipal by-laws.
