Lanark Community Alliance is looking for volunteer board members to help govern and guide our alliance. As a Board member, you will support our three member agencies by ensuring strong governance, strategic leadership, and community impact.
What does the board do?
- Strategic planning – Setting long-term goals and shaping the vision for our organizations.
- Quality oversight – Upholding high standards in programs, services, and operations.
- CEO oversight – Supporting and evaluating executive leadership performance.
- Financial stewardship – Ensuring responsible management of resources and financial sustainability.
Who we're looking for:
We welcome passionate community members with diverse skills and experiences, especially in:
- Finance and accounting
- Law and governance
- Healthcare and social services
- Business and non-profit leadership
- Community advocacy and engagement
If you have a heart for service and want to help shape the future of community support in Lanark County, we’d love to hear from you!
Time commitment: Approximately 5 to 10 hours per month, including meetings and committee work.
