Easter Office Closures – April 3 and 6, 2026

The following Mississippi Mills offices will be closed on Good Friday (April 3) and Easter Monday (April 6):

• Mississippi Mills Municipal Office
• Development Services and Engineering and Recreation and Culture Departments at Almonte Old Town Hall
• Roads and Public Works Garage

Impacts to garbage and recycling schedule

Due to the Good Friday holiday, Friday garbage collection will shift one day. It will be collected on Saturday, April 4.

Payments and other documents can be dropped off in the secure mail slot to the left of the Mississippi Mills Municipal Office doors at 3131 Old Perth Road.

In case of a municipal emergency, call the Roads and Public Works emergency pager at 613-284-1425.

Our offices will re-open on Tuesday, April 7 at 8:30 a.m.
