You’ll be able to recycle more materials than ever before, including black plastic containers, hot and cold beverage cups, deodorant, toothpaste tubes, frozen juice containers, and ice cream tubs, and more.

2025 Garbage / Recycling Collection Changes
· Good Friday (April 18) – Friday collection shifted to Saturday, April 19
· Canada Day (Tuesday July 1) – all collections shifted by one day:
o Tuesday, July 1 collection will occur on Wednesday, July 2
o Wednesday, July 2 collection will occur on Thursday, July 3
o Thursday, July 3 collection will occur on Friday, July 4
o Friday, July 4 collection will occur on Saturday, July 5
· Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25) – Thursday collection shifted to Friday, December 26 and Friday collection shifted to Saturday, December 27
· New Years 2026 (Thursday, January 1, 2026):
o Thursday, January 1, 2026 collection shifted to Friday, January 2, 2026
o Friday, January 2, 2026 collection shifted to Saturday January 3, 2026
