Training Standards

As a designated Regional Training Centre, we partner with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management (OFMEM) and the Ontario Fire College (OFC) to deliver top-notch OFC programs through our Adjunct Instructor designation. The Mississippi Mills Regional Training Centre is committed to providing training that meets and exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) job performance requirements. Our certification training, skills, and tactics are taught by highly trained instructors from across the region. Our standards-based programs include Pro-Board and IFSAC certification testing and skills evaluation, delivered through the OFMEM's Academic Standards and Evaluations (AS&E) unit upon program completion.
